Zainab Nasir, a film graduate from the University of Karachi, is an acclaimed Film Director and Producer with experience working for major clients like the British Council,
USAID, Business Insider, and brands such as Mirinda and Jazz. She has directed over seven web series, numerous short films, documentaries, and digital ads, earning local and international recognition. Her work has been featured at prestigious events like the Royal Overseas League in London and the Commonwealth Annual Meeting
Read MoreJoin Sony Alpha, Skills360 and The Coach360 on a filmmaking journey that’ll give you realtime skills. This workshop is tailored to help you understand filmmaking and beyond and selected teams will receive up to PKR100,000 in production budget to finalize their documentary.
All participants must come prepared with a concept for a short film, documentary, or hybrid project. These ideas will be refined during the workshop and may be selected for the 3-month production phase. Participants may join as pre-formed teams or be grouped into teams during the workshop. Master trainer alongside mentors will help evaluate and refine submitted ideas, and will also present a few curated concepts for those who need inspiration or wish to collaborate.
The 2 day masterclass hosted by Sony Alpha Universe will be held at Skills360’s institute located at Shahrah-e-faisal Karachi. Here’s everything that’ll happen during the workshop.

4 Winning teams from the workshop will be shortlisted for a full-fledged production.
The winning teams will receive up to PKR 100,000 over a span of 3 months in production funding from The Coach360, each team will be managed by mentors as contingency/festival funding.

3 months down the line, there will be a screening event to showcase The Coach360 produced films.
