This is not a theory class. Every week you write, shoot, and direct. From your first script to your final cut; 90 days of real, practical filmmaking training in Karachi.
You’ll learn the basics of filmmaking and visual storytelling, including scriptwriting fundamentals and how to develop strong narratives. The module also covers hands-on camera operation—aperture, exposure, framing, and lenses; along with cinematography essentials like lighting, composition, and angles. It ends with you pitching your first short film idea.
You’ll step into real production with on-set practices, directing actors, and managing a crew, while getting hands-on experience with Sony professional camera equipment. The month also introduces documentary techniques and leads into the start of your own short film production.
You’ll learn editing, pacing, colour grading, and sound design to shape your story in post-production. The module ends with final film finishing, festival-ready exports, submission to Sony Alpha Universe, and a live screening of your completed film.
